Running PC Pitstop Tests with FirefoxAlthough Internet Explorer holds a majority of the browser market, we try to give our visitors the flexibility of running any choice of browser. Most of the site is accessible from any browser that supports basic style sheets. Users of Mozilla, Firefox, or Opera should be able to read our pages fine, and should also be able to load previous test results or view results that are sent to them through our TechExpress feature. Until recently, Internet Explorer has been required for any tests performed on the site. Our tests use ActiveX technology, which typically has only been supported on Internet Explorer. However, with Firefox and the use of the IE Tab. PC Pitstop now offers users even greater flexibility in running the browser of their choice. IE Tab is a Firefox extension that embeds Internet Explorer in a Mozilla/Firefox tab. Follow the steps below to configure the IE Tab site filter to include www.pcpitstop.com as a URL that you wish to always view within the IE Tab of Firefox.
As an alternative, you may prefer to choose the pages you view with the IE Tab on a case by case basis. This can be done after installing IE Tab by right clicking anywhere on the page and selecting View Page in IE. Best of luck,The Pitstop Mechanics |
