Purpose: DDHELP.EXE - Provides Win9x/Me support functions for programs that use DirectDraw/DirectX graphics functions. DDHELP will be started the first time a program requests DirectDraw functions, and will continue to run after the program has exited. DirectDraw functions will not function properly if you disable/terminate this program. Because DDHELP is responsible for managing the resources on the graphics card itself, the system may crash or other strange things may happen.
ddhelp.exe is an essential part of Windows and required for Windows to work properly. It should never be disabled.
