vsmon.exe provides the packet interception functions of ZoneAlarm, required for ZA to work properly. To permanently disable, uninstall ZoneAlarm. To disable until the next boot, right-click the ZoneAlarm tray icon and select "Shutdown ZoneAlarm." To prevent ZoneAlarm from starting each time you boot the system, open ZoneAlarm, click the Configure button, and clear the check box next to 'Load ZoneAlarm at startup.'

vsmon.exe  is required by third-party software or hardware and should not disabled.
