Win Patrol

TAPISRV.EXE - The Telephone API (TAPI) provides the software interface between Windows applications and telephone-connected hardware such as modems. It will be running if you use an analog modem or other hardware networking device that appears as a modem to the system.

tapisrv.exe  is an essential part of Windows and required for Windows to work properly. It should never be disabled.
