12/26/2009 4:01:08 PM Starting this last monday this laptop suddenly became very slow during booting and the use of regular software. Also watching movies on the internet was impossible due to the movies being out of sync and bad quality.

1/13/2010 12:58:13 PM i Bought computer because it had a bluray dvd but 1 week after using the the bluray stopped reading disks it would read ordinary dvds cds etc.but not bluray!.now it was brand new and under warranty so i called acer repair shopin the uk to see if there was a problem in general with the model as every other part,program worked ok i had updated all software but to no avail.now this is the good bit. The repair shop for all acer`s said here is a bookin number and other details of getting it to them to fix under the warranty,but was told that if it was a software update that i would be charged £67 pounds for that.this angered me as i had this a week and when i googled the problem for a solution it turs out that there are hundreds of acer laptops with blurays with the same problem and symtoms as i had with mine.and acer is no help and what good is the warranty !! totally useless.(outcome)i never sent mines in to the repair shop for them to sort a software problem with the click of a mouse then charge me for it. when the could simply tell me were the problem software lies or remotely fix it. if it was just a faulty batch of Bluray`s then i would have sent it to them to change or they could have posted out a replacement for me to fit.but instead they have left (me) there customer with a new laptop with no bluray function.i will never buy,tell friends or family or any one to purchase an acer anything!! they have there name on..and it still dont work.

4/7/2010 5:43:21 AM for the last couple of weeks it has been getting slow. Especially running Runescape. A process call audiodg.exe is taking 30% of all CPU resources

4/16/2010 2:02:28 PM Video playback is at virtual standstill and desktop links to downloaded software become unusable. Consequently I cannot download the latest versions of flash player and other essential updates.
