Vista,Not What I'd Thought You'd Be

The Vista Blues

Lyrics

Vista Blues

Vista, not what I thought you'd be

Vista, not what I thought you'd be

Hey Vista,

Been seeing you for over a year,

One thing is very clear,

You let me down, (you really let me down)

It's time you leave. (gimme gimme gimme back XP)

Whoa Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

Lots of programs and hardware don't work,

Some of my software went berserk,

Permission screens made me feel like a jerk

And not too mention the UAC quirks.

You let me down, (you really let me down)>

It's time you leave. (gimme gimme gimme back XP)

Hey Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

What's with the questions you pop,

Acting like some digital cop,

You let me down, (you really let me down)

It's time you leave. (gimme gimme gimme back XP)

Hey Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

Performance and security,

All those promises that you made me,

You have features I don't need

Some designed to impede.

You let me down, (you really let me down)

It's time you leave. (gimme gimme gimme back XP)

Yeah Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

And your needs are really high,

And girl, I don't know why,

You let me down, (you really let me down)

Time you leave. (gimme gimme gimme back XP)

Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

Then there's the DRM,

My media it did condemn.

I guess Hollywood is your friend.

One more thing for me to contend.

You let me down, (you really let me down)

Time you leave.(gimme gimme gimme back XP)

Oh Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

I said Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

Oh Vista, not what I thought you'd be.

Vista you dun let me down again.

Hey!

Vista Blues

Mista, mista, mista,

Does she have a sista?

Oh, mista, mista, mista,

Please tell me there's no twin.

Mista, mista, mista,

Thought she was a playa,

Oh, mista, mista, mista,

Hey she ain't very thin.

She's one expensive lady,

Whose acting very shady,

Seems to be born a has bin.

Well, Vista, Vista, Vista,

Hey, I'm not gonna miss ya.

Oh, Vista, Vista, Vista,

My Windows you dun cracked.

Oh, Vista, Vista, Vista,

I've said all my prayahs,

Oh, Vista, Vista, Vista,

Anxiety attack.

You've taken my resources,

I'm ready to divorce us,

Gonna tie you to that deadly railroad track.

Oh, tie her down boys!

Hey there, Vista,

You know, you're like a fever blista.

Yeah, you've caused me lots of pain.

Oh Vista, Vista, Vista,

Kind of a tongue twista,

Vista, Vista, Vista,

You strain veins in my brain.

Aeroglass and permissions,

Have put me in submission,

Bringing that old XP back again.

It seems like I waited for-ever.

I upgraded all my hard-ware.

I ran the com-pat-ibility test.

And I even cut my hair.

Oh, Vista,

Girl, how could you do me so wrong?

Well you really laid an egg this time, baby

And it hatched out this here swan song.

my apologies for having an opinion.

Apology accepted. We'll be having none of those "opinion" things around here! Next thing you know everybody will have one and they'll be trying to force them on each other!!!!
my apologies for having an opinion.
BB, ya gotta get a grip--those are great! Good stuff. I like the none blues one best. Pleeeze, that is catchy.

It's fun!

OK so how many times did you Sing Vista, Vista-Vista, in your head last night and this morning?

the lyrics were funny, but the songs weren't catchy.

I thought both were equally good...especially for those who are new to Vista. They can commiserate together

bb... doesn't know good sarcasm
well, being from the hometown of stevie ray vaughn i'd have to go with the blues, but to be honest, i didn't find either of them very catchy.

Thanks Bruce.

I wish it were me, but it is a good friend of mine and others that live here in Myrtle Beach. The idea is to create a new genre of music just about technology. We got a lot more planned in the upcoming months, so I hope people definitely enjoy.

Rob

PS - We are going to have a poll, but which one did you like better?
