Debugging Options

When you visit this page, we enable some debugging options that help us determine where and when tests fail on a PC. Debugging options will remain in effect on this site until you close your browser.

Click the Start Testing button below to continue on to testing.

How to use debugging

1. If this is your first debugging try, click the Start Testing button without checking any boxes. On the next page, click "Test this machine" to start the test process.
2. If the tests do not complete, note the message in the blue status box on the page and check the box to skip the corresponding test below.
3. If you aren't able to see the message in the blue status box during testing before the crash occurs, try checking one of the items below and test again.
4. If you continue to have problems, ask for help. Also, if disabling one of the tests fixes your problem, please let us know.
