| 4/22/2010 8:56:48 PM | Recently this computer started random reboots , usually once in a 6 hour period. The event log does not show any reason for the reboot. It just shows a quote "restart due to user shutdown using the shutdown button or control+alt+del keys." unquote |

| 2/14/2010 3:02:44 PM | The motrherboard is tatooed so that if you have to do a system restore and ANYTHING has been modified you will get a "Code Purple" which will require that you send it back to HP to be "re-tatooed" (unless you are compuetr literate and can find the work around. |

| 1/7/2010 7:38:50 PM | my computer does not have a virus ,my problems started after i shutdown my computer in the middle of patching a game thrugh the internet...it stopped at 98% and wouldnt minimize the game patch was download thruogh battle.net so it was legit and free of viruses, my computer rana checkdisk after it took forever to load( i restarted took forever to load so restarted again and checkdisk apparently fixed something) now it succesfully loads but takes up to an hour to start my start up programs...my computer lags and freezes when opening stuff i thought maybe windows update might be causeing this but i dont think thats the full problem now, i open firefox after wiating for an hour for my computer to start up , takes longer thne normal to open and lags when i search for something then returns to normal speed...switching between windows sometimes makes it lag also main problem is my pc lags and freezes and takes forever to startup or shutdown,its virus free..so it must be hardware or windows problem, due to something that hapend during checkdisk or when i turned my computer off useing the tower... restoreing to earlier time does nothign to fix it, any help would be greatly appreiceted my brain feels like its gonna explode lol. also for the question on locking up and requres frequent reboots..im not sure, i mean my computer doesnt totaly freeze but it lags for a long time. |
