| 1/5/2011 8:39:14 PM | Dell sold me a 9500GT/1 gig on card that was supposed to be compatible with my configuration. It caused BSD's every time the drivers loaded. It needed 300 watts to run, I have 306! What was my PC supposed to get the power it needed. Then they wanted to sell me a EXTERNAL 450 power supply. I am positive it was not a good idea. I am currently buying hrdware for a PC I am going to build. Chipsets can be ficlke. I will use a 750 watt power supply and I wanr a minimum of 16 gig of ram. |

I've tried to figure out what program it's associated with, and haven't been able to. I've never knowingly installed Roxio software. Recent changes to my computer include adding Blackberry software. I found a Roxio CD that came with the computer: occasionally it will prompt me to put "CD in drive and click OK" but nothing happens. Again, I've never used any Roxio programs that I'm aware of. The computer won't let me add programs when the window pops up. I get a box that says "windows installer in use; please close programs and try again. HELP!?? Bob |

He replaced the original 250 Mb drive with a 320 Mb drive, and reduced the number of programs accessed on startup. However, with usage, the number of processes has crept up again, and speed has dropped drastically. |

I describe is as when theres something going on the the background while i watch and when the background process is finished it causes the video to lag for a second. Now the video lags when there is no program running. |

It's hard to describe but movies are all pixlated most of the time just a few colors it kinda looks like those toys with all the pins that you would make shapes with by pushing on the back of the pins. Google earth looks fine close up but far away looks like a lot of white triangles. |

Launching AOL is very slow and I have problems with other applications now and then, as if they aren't communicating well with my computer or each other. Special problems with too many photo editing apps not allowing me to organize, find or use apps from different cameras. |

Dell support is very active and loves to sell me stuff that I do not know if i need or not, like this program. I am losing some of my sight and would like to have larger font, but if I do that, then I cannot see what is supposed to be on the screen, as it is too big to fit on my 18" flat screen. Hopefully this tune-up thingy will help. |

| 5/8/2009 2:18:35 PM | It started life as a vista. I formatted it to XP Pro. It doesn;t seem to know which operating system is in control. Blue screens, software that suddenly stops working and neds to be reinstalled. I have to format it a minimum of once a moth. Other than this, it is perfect. |
