This is the best that I know about not running the two of them together. The speed of my computer was slower with only one of these installed. I guessed on the maximum speed connections. I am using Road Runner thru ComCast. |

I use mostly on Internet (AOL Provider) and it is on Dial Up (so naturally slow for many functions, especially with the 512MB RAM. Have not had 2GB installed long enough to know if that helped. Tech at Target Direct recomended PC Tune UP when I was buying RAM. So, see what happens. Had a lot of trouble geting PC Tune up to run (perhaps the main problem was my Interne connection , but that seems to have fibnaly been resolved). Motorola's/AT&T's dsl modem overheats and AT&T does not sell a good product either. Folks in the computer business are making a killing at "killing" people. They should feel proud of themselves. |

It is CONSTANTLY losing my net connection,web pages freeze-up and won't load, it's white screen city at websites (flashplayer doesn't want to work right in Firefox 3.6.3,and I detest leaky/dangerous IE-any version !) Microsoft office 2003 word docs never open the same way twice.- that program refuses to keep my settings- ie- I don't want any live*anything appearing in docs I open, and the task pane is hit or miss opening in docs. This pc was junk, new out of the box. I think I said that before here. |
