GATEWAY ALSO LACK QUALITY CONTROL SINCE THE 1ST COMPUTER I RECEIVED WAS WITHOUT AN OPERATING SYSTEM AND AFTER HOURS OF TELEPHONE SUPPORT TO INSTALL RECOVERY WHICH FAILED, IT TURNED OUT TO HAVE AN ACER BIOS AND WOULD NEVER FUNCTION CORRECTLY. HOW DID THIS PASS QC? THE REPLACEMENT SEEMS TO BE OKAY. SO FAR. |

| 10/18/2010 7:31:53 PM | The computer is o.k. Unfornutely your service stinks. Four days ago my "security" section said not working. After a long time waiting for customeer service, I was informed the server for malware support was down, and would be up within 24 hours. BALONEY!!! Four days later, and it's still down. I paid for a full service software package, and I'm not getting it. I was on hold for 45 minutes, today, and never got to speak to a tech. If I can get my money back I'm going to do it, and find a package from a company that gives a damn about its customers. |

| 9/26/2010 6:25:51 PM | im not sure if it is the computer or the o.s. system? hardly any of the programs that the general, every day household would use like adobe flash player and common programs that have been around for at least a decade WILL NOT run properly! if it will even run at all! on this computer, all of the pop-ups seem to blame the problems on the actual programs. they say that they are not compatible with a 64-bit system.....this computers processor is amd phenom 11 x6 core processor (3x as many cores as my last computer) it has 8 gbs ram (over 4x what the old one had) and a1.5tb hard drive(8x larger than the old one) and this is just to start with! so why isnt it any faster than my old computer? in all actuallity, the only up side is that the new one is quiter. i spend more time trying to get this computer to run than i do actually running it! so id have to give it an F minus. on a scale of 1-10, i give it a 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
