| 10/18/2009 1:29:49 PM | HP has a Recovery program installed on this computer which partially disables some windows programs to operate such as system tools. It also prevents third party utilities to diagnose and maintain some parts of the system. I'd much rather have it gone. I have XP pro now but was much happier with XP home. |

| 7/27/2011 4:27:19 PM | The system has blue screened quite a few times - some related I believe to the DVD Drive and/or IRQ related issues. There is also a problem with one of the Matrox graphics cards which has a problem when under load using a particular piece of software called greyhorsebot - the dialogue boxes come out black after opeing the eighth instance of the bot software. This is despite the fact that it is the more powerful of the two graphics cards. Besides this, it works fine when moving the bot to the screnn with the less powerful Matrox card. This started to happen after driver & bios updates, which had to take place because the system blue screened due to the old driver!! |
