| 1/17/2010 8:34:23 AM | I got over-charged on the amount I paid through "RENT-A-CENTER" for a PC that was supposed to be "brand new"/"state of the art". However,I found out that even though it 'may' have been "brand new"("out of the box"),that's where they "got me"! I found out directly from HP (by phone/HP tech rep) that it was in actuality already 3 years "old" when I got it in 2007)! A n d...(wait it get's better), it was o n l y the "2004" model [ a n d.. worse yet, only the "2002" SYSTEM VERSION ]! H o w e v e r (here's the "satisfaction" part), at least it's an HP !! Which means...I c a n (with your help), make the very best of what I way-over-paid for! By the way....I'm a l r e a d y telling a l l my friends & associates about your products & where to get them : www.tigerdirect.com !! I very much look fwd to doing much more business with you ! |

Cleaned startup menu of all but several entries and there is absolutely no change in boot up or the overall speed of this PC. I have done everything I know to do without success. Help!!! BE |

I noticed that the CPU was loading up to 100% at times and at others it would completely load up at 100% and either freeze completely or hibernate. I wiped the HD yesterday and it seems a bit better, but nearly back to normal. |
