7/13/2012 6:34:49 PM I seem to have recurring mal- or spyware which I seemingly can relatively easily locate and remove - the computer works OK for a while, but then it slows down again after a few hours and on runing another mal- spyware sweep (I use several as what one misses anothr may find), those same items I just removed are back - I have used AVG, Spybot, Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes, SUPERAntiSpyware, Advanced System Care and even Kaspersky on occasion - nothing seems to entirely root-out this recurring spyware popping up like mushrooms after a summer rain which I think is the reason, or one of the major contributing reasons to the slowness and stalling I occasionally experience. It's particularly bad when "surfing" - OE (yeah, don't tell me, I don't want to hear it again - I happen to LIKE OE and dislike firefox and chrome, so don't just try to weasel out of answering or even looking at the question by saying "Oh, well, OE's no good ya know, that's your problem" - that's crap and you know it. When this computer was new I couild surf so blazingly fast it seemed to have new windows open almost before I had clicked them - now navigation is slow - sometimes worse than the dial-up I suffered with for years when I lived in the sticks. Complex pages with multiple graphics sometimes take minutes to load and not all the images will make it on the 1st attempt, etc.
