So BSOD happens when playing online games which requires a bit of resource. When I switch on the computer a message said "The previous Overclock failed" although its running in default/optimal config. |

| 10/3/2010 8:48:51 AM | It is a home-built PC and was getting problems from 3 Samsung drives (HD502H) set up in a Raid 5 configuration. One of the drives, mainly the same one, kept degrading; RAID forever having to be rebuilt; eventually replaced with 3 Seagate ST375033NS drives in same RAID configuration ghosted from the original RAID to the new one via a single Seagate Barracuda 400 GB ATE HDD, i.e. the ghost of a ghost image. SFC/scannow reveals several registry errors that cannot be fixed by Windows. Will not respond to mouse commands on screen; needs to be reset with Alt Ctrl Del; when on screen with Start Task Manager as one of the options, hitting on the Cancel option allows the mouse to resume. |

| 11/14/2010 8:18:30 PM | I get a blue screen ever since I upgraded the memory (same brand, different clock speed) I bought 3 sticks of 2 gigs and added them in the empty slots beside he 3 sticks of 1 gig. Even after, I removed the sticks, the loop of hell would not let me log into my desktop. reboot, self shutdown, reboot, self shutdow. I reinstalled the OS with the new memory and old altogether. Now my problem is that I still get the blue screen telling me something about memory dump files...I removed the 3 stick of 1gig. I turned on the machine and it read 6.00 gig of RAM. I turned it off after 3-4 hours of uninterrupted computer session enjoying my machine. I turn it off. i come back a few hours later and now it res 4.0 gigs of RAM and gotten the Blue Screen from Hell a few times. I purchased the upgrade for Windows Professional but it's no good because I need to upgrade to Ultimate sincce I'm running Home Premium. I'll be returning the product but I don't know whether to upgrade or to buy the entire OS $$$. Frm time to time, I also get error pop ups on my desktop, saying THIS and THAT has stopped working....I look up in forums how to fix the problem and when I download them results say I have a number of regidtry problems and a few others and if I wish to fix them, I must purchase the software...That why NOW I'm installing this software that came with my computer at the time of purchase and perhaps end the suffering because my warranty will soon expire and I'm about to send it back to the manufacturer. I'm fed up with this cpu. -Thanks |
