2/6/2010 12:07:15 AM Not only is it very very slow and freeze, especially in Mozilla Firefox, but the basic problem is somewhere in the power componenets. Even though plugged in, battery will run down to nothing and a pop up says to use a Dell AC adapter, which of course it has plugged into it. Frustrating beyond belief. Been sent in, and was told nothing wrong with it (Dec) happened again in Jan, hoping this will help. Family suggested buying a Mac and forget Dell - that frustrated.

3/16/2011 4:45:57 AM This is a laptop by dell, and it wouldnt be my first choice for a laptop, but for what it is, I am actually pretty satisfied with it. I do have higher expectations for what I would like to use as far as a laptop goes, and the things I dont like about it, is the processor, and OS. I also feel like considering that this is supposed to be a high quality computer, it lags in such high quality features. Like things I should be able to do NO PROBLEM at all, this pc gives me a lot of trickery, but I have a lot patience, and can get passed it cause I make it so I fix things when I need to and gives me a chance to learn new things. So all in all its not bad, but there are things that bother me about it, that if I had a better cpu, and better ram, and OS I would be able to attain those things.

6/27/2012 2:47:26 PM The screen will freeze, all the colors will run together, then the screen will go blank. Sometimes, the screen will come back, and there will be a message that displays (paraphrasing), "The video processor has failed, but has recoverd". So, I know there is a problem with the video processor. The computer does seem to get quite hot.

2/12/2011 11:53:20 AM installed an addon looking for a car part, locked up firefox. unistalled firefox reinstalled firefox wont even work any more. caon only uplad 1 photo at a time. I need to use computor to see if their are nay improvements.

5/11/2009 3:13:33 PM we bought this dell studio with 4gb of ram and a good size harddrive and I think it sdould run faster but it locks up and stalls and is slow so I'm wondering whats wrong with it?

9/2/2012 1:18:08 PM When ever i install a Virus Program Norton Internet Security 2012, or Avast Virus Protection 2012, When i turn on computer it will stay on approximatly 1minute to 2 minutes and then Dumps the memory with a blue Screen. and i can not uninstall The Virus programs as the computer does not stay on long enough to Start the Uninstall procedure! it dumps memory with a blue screen so i have to go into Safe mode to Uninstall the virus Program. also i had to format the Hard drive completly one of the times to get the virus program off the hard drive. After i remove the Virus Programs the computer Runs Great.
