Support did fix it so I can have it turned off when i have an external mouse pluged in. every time I get up graded to another windows i have the same problem and it does eventually get fixed. I hopw this time after asking many support people someone will fix it like it was fixed last time. When I turned on the computer a little window explained that the touch pad will be disables since there is an external mouse being used. I hope I can get this to happen again. |

Also, the volume control bar (also controlled by the buttonless button bar) appears on the screen randomly and interferes with other work in progress. I did suddenly started getting returned mail that I have not sent. I am not sure how to fix this. It was recommended to change my e-mail address which I don't want to do. When I put it on hold, close the lap top lid, a blank screen when restarting. I at first didn't know what to do and had to disconnect the power. I found that reclosing the lid and opening it again usually solved this problem. |

It also keeps showing a drive consistency error on bootup and says I can bypass it but then freezes so I have to press the power button and hope that the next time it actually gets past the drive consistency error. |

If I'm using the browser with a slow Wi-Fi Signal the entire computer is prone to locking up. If restore, virus scanning, indexing and other background programs decide to start simultaneously the computer can lock up or at the very least render it impossible for the user to do anything with it. |

This is an Entertainment series with a "beatsaudio" sound equipment.Ex(Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer). It also has a built-in HP TrueVision HD webcam The webcam has NEVER worked and I can not fix it. The beatsaudio is an EXTREME let down! not only does it not play as advertised, it doesn't play music, movies or t.v. loud , clear or rich enough to enjoy it. My iphone does as well as the laptop 25 bigger! I do not download JUNK onto my computers and I have used PCpitstop for about 15 years since Steve Gibson told me about you. Your website has taught me a great deal of knowledge over the years to help my family and lots of others to keep our computers in the top rankings and performing well. Thank You for your help over th years. This laptop also runs slow and locks up more than any newer computer I have owned. I even learned how to build and repair Desktop Computers and a number of laptops as well. If I worked on someones computer, Your website was ALWAYS one of my standard tools to improve performance by identifying problems. I also put EVERYONE I interacted with at all about thier computer, onto your website and computer help products. I would say at least a few hundred people myself and snowballing by word of mouth from there. I haven't used your FULL test program in a while so I had to sign up a new account. GOT THE DISK'S PHONE'D THEM UP TO LET THE KNOW IDE GOT THE DISK;S LIKE THEY HAD ASK'D ME TO PHONE WHEN IN RECIETxOVER THE PHONE . ANY WAY'S WITH-OUT GOING TO 4 IN TO V FULL BIZZ THEY PICK'D IT UP AGAIN TOLD NOT TO SEND THE DISK'S WERE V 10 mile an hour speeking scurge how did he know!!! they end'd puting a new HDD in it & it as got some right sh###e on it still have waranty of cause see'ing how new it is please any idios many thank's MR N S DARBY.(nijj@live.co.uk) P. My daughter has the same one and has had no problems with hers. It was also purchased from tiger direct. Satisfation |
