3/28/2011 5:48:50 PM I have a virus of some kind. Right now, I've found a way to work around it but it's still irritating. My computer clams up every night and I waste time by waiting until it works through - if it doesn't, I have to reboot.

1/10/2011 2:38:52 PM This Sony VAIO VGN-FE770G laptop with Windows XP MCE SP3 was purchased new in February of 2007, and stored from September 2007 to November 2010. It is now my primary workhorse and test platform for software stabiliy and security evaluations. Recent slowdowns on boot are probably the fault of an unsuccessful evaluation of Norton 360. Other that battery life, this machine has performed amazingly well under both Windows and Ubuntu Linux.
