Somehow some one has hacked into this computer through the DSL router and sometimes takes over my computer screen. I presently can't afford to take it in to get it fixed, so I am careful as to what information I have on my screen. WHich is extremely inconvenent. |

New hard drive purchased, but system is horribly slow with new hard drive, which is (should be) faster than old one. Benchmarks show drive is OK, so there is a system problem somewhere. No malware, spyware, or virus is to blame. There must be some setting somewhere causing this - that is what I am looking for. |
