The Acer Aspire One weighs just over 2 pounds and is packed with a 160 GB hard drive and Windows XP operating system. It has 8.9-inch CrystalBrite WSVGA LED backlit display, integrated webcam, and Intel's Atom mobile processor. Other features include a 160 GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery for up to 5.5 hours of battery life, 1 GB of installed RAM (1.5 GB maximum), 54g Wi-Fi networking (802.11b/g), multi-format memory card reader, and multiple USB ports.

It has cheerfully done everything I've asked it to do, and believe me, I asked a lot. I'm already running at least 40 programs regularly and have had no problems. It has not hung up on anything or any software. Highly recommended. |

I hadn't had a the bios password protected prior to this. I haven't been able to fix it and Acer will charge an hourly or per-call cost for support. |
