I think that running Windows XP Home Edition contibutes to it's good performance. Easy to transport. Internet works well. Minor problems would be that the touchpad is too sensitive and battery life is shorter than I would like. |

| 4/26/2011 6:27:26 PM | The computer seemed to operate at levels higher in months past, and though I update the computer, clear cookies, even use CCleaner from Piriform as well as Malwarebytes and AVG free softwares to keep myself as virus and harmful software free as possible, but I am concerned that the few trojans and other dangerous viruses and malwares that have been removed in the past may have corrupted the neccessary systems to keep the computer running optimally. I am nearing the point of just buying a new laptop. I mean, 1GB of RAM and a 1.60 Ghz processor isn't exactly blazing, but it shouldn't be lagging with factory programs or general surfing, right? Or am I asking too much from a netbook? May have extra software or programs bogging it down. |
